A character counts as “new” in the year it first came out.
What’s an edition?
An edition is a pen the way you keep it in your collection: an EP code and a variant.
One code can have several editions. EP0001 has four: the panda changed its pattern and its mark, but kept its code.
The 2026 renumbering
In 2026, Legami renumbered 19 codes. The EP0001 panda became EP0060.
In most cases, the photos are identical: same drawing, same slogan, same ink.
We still count both codes, because the number printed on the pen isn’t the same.
Is the catalogue complete?
Not yet. If an edition is missing, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist: we just haven’t found it yet.
